National Reading Day

National Reading Month will be celebrated in our vidyalaya from 19th June 2020 to 26 June 2020 .We will organize different types of activities like online quizzes, Story telling competition, Reading day pledge etc. kindly participate in different reading activities which will be organised in  our Vidyalaya through different digital modes. Information regarding conducting competition will be provided to you later on , Kindly regularly check your  vidyalaya library blog for getting latest information related to activities.

Brief discription :-
The annual remembrance day of P N Panicker is observed as the 'Day of Reading' by the Govt.of
Kerala for the past 21 yrs. with week-long activities at schools. As we all aware, the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, had dedicated to the nation, the concept of the National Digital Library of India as One Library for All of India on June 19th 2018. It is a matter of pride that the dedication was made while commemorating the services of the Late P.N.Panicker, the father of Library and Literacy Movement.Though the famous slogan Read and Grow, he helped to expand the library network from a mare 45 in 1945 to more than 6,000 in the 1980.

Pustakouphar

Dear Students, It is informed to all of you that keep your previous session text  books with yourself for donating to your junior classes students. After opening the school, you can donate these books to any student who need them. However, due to prevailing corona virus pandemic, it is felt that before passing on the books to the students, adequate precautions are to be taken by the school. You can donate your books in the vidyalaya after Vacations or after lockdown.
